I have an undergraduate degree in Linguistics from the University of Arizona in Tucson. I received an M.Phil in Linguistics and a Ph.D in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. I also studied and worked in Eberhard Karls Universität-Tübingen in Germany prior to moving to East Asia where I became increasing interested in areas of language learning and teaching. My chief interests today lie in reconciling theories and approaches from various fields of study related to language with actual practices in language teaching. This is Implicational Linguistics.
Hvem er jeg? - Wer bin ich, denn?
I am passionate about the human capacity for learning, forgetting, and exploiting language. language is something that we as humans all share, it a central pat of who we are as a species, yet we still know little about how it works and even what it is.
Science is still an open book with many blank pages. It is up to us to write those pages and advance our knowledge and fields of study.
Strive for excellence.
